get_errnum

Convert an error name to a Synergy DBL error number

WTSupported in traditional Synergy on Windows

USupported on UNIX

int get_errnum(char *error, int length)

Arguments

error

A pointer to a string identifying the error mnemonic.

length

The length of the string.

Discussion

The get_errnum function gets the Synergy DBL error number for an error mnemonic.

The return value is the error number associated with the mnemonic.

Because the error number can change from environment to environment, we strongly recommend that you always reference errors by their mnemonics (the text that follows the “$ERR_” in a runtime error literal).
